The JAM Foundation

Sponsorship Opportunities

JAM Foundation boasts a unique position as the South East’s premiere charitable organisation that targets the promotion and progress of ‘wannabe’ musicians.

In January 2009, JAM Foundation was inaugurated and its first event took place during March & April 2009 at Tunbridge Wells’ renowned live music venue, The Forum.

Affray! at the Forum was a huge success, pitting 10 bands against each other over a series of four nights. All of the bands were local musicians and the level of competition was intense. The final saw Where’s Billy against Blind Archers and the judges votes were split between the two bands, with Blind Archers narrowly taking the acclaim as Affray! 2009 victors! They also secured the first prize of a 3 and a half day recording contract with Audio Sorcery.

The JAM Foundation’s audience is a mixture of young and old. Audience figures for Affray! topped 600 over the four nights and its Facebook group currently have nearly 1000 members. With a recent association with Paul Dunton, who is responsible for the annual Local & Live Festival in Tunbridge Wells, the JAM Foundation now has a link in to over 12,000 people in Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.

The next major event is planned to run for three months from September to December. JAM Raw! 2009 sees yet another ‘Battle of the Bands’ format, akin to Affray! but will include 20 bands/singers/songwriters each competing over 7 nights with a target of being crowned JAM Raw! 2009 Winners and a 3 day recording studio session with Audio Sorcery.

As we look towards the future JAM Affray! 2010 will return in the Spring and current ideas will involve 40 bands taking part with the chance to win an amazing prize, unlike any ever seen before in the ‘unsigned’ category of the music industry.

The long term goals of the JAM Foundation are discussed on our website, along with some highly interesting content and information.

Current involvement opportunities include;
  • Direct product use in the public eye
  • The obvious sponsorship arrangements of logos and product names being seen on stages, advertising and media reviews
  • Banners with logos draped from the stages and surrounding crowd areas
  • Logo on T shirts (on request)
  • Logo and link will also be included in any communications with the JAM Foundation members and network
  • Link the JAM Foundation web site both ways to sponsor's web site, so the audience can see the full extent of the sponsorship
